SISTER MELISSA RICHARDSON
APRIL 28, 2014
Well it is 92 and sunny and hot today! We went and got ice cream down
by the beach.l.well as close to the beach as we can go. It's been a
good p day!
This week, we didn't have very many teaching opportunities...most of
our investigators cancelled on us which is sad. But we were able to do
lots of service this week. We helped a member clean these beach condos
that they do every Saturday, that was fun!
On windy, we got a new ward mission leader! Also, I sang a solo in
sacrament meeting...be still my soul. Elder Jensen played the piano
and elder coon and sister Waldron signed the words. It was neat!
Another fun service opportunity was teaching asl to a special needs
boy. He is the oldest of this big baptist family that is really sweet.
We had Kaylee's baptism this Saturday. It was on her 8th birthday and
we taught all of the missionary lessons to her before she got
baptized.
We had a lot of nonmembers come with their member friends to our
volleyball activity on Saturday night, hooray!
We are still working hard and doing our best every day!
Here is a story that I found this week that has helped me with my
perspective in serving a mission!
