SISTER MELISSA RICHARDSON LETTER #41 -- APRIL 21, 2014

SISTER MELISSA RICHARDSON
APRIL 21, 2014

Here was my favorite Easter moment:
We were helping out in Primary and I was sitting by cute little Nauvoo
(deaf) and everyone had pictures of Christ and we were putting the
pictures in chronological order. Nauvoo had the picture of Christs
crucifixion. I was trying to see if she knew what was happening in the
picture and was giving her come clues like cross, Jesus, death. Then
she looks at me and grabs my hand, turns it over and presses her thumb
into the middle of the top of my hand, showing me where the marks
from the nail would be. She did understand the story! It was so sweet!
And filled me with the spirit over her sweet testimony and knowledge
of that story.

It's really hard to remember what happened in the past week. Every
week is great, but it is all very similar.

We died Easter eggs with Jaime and Sierra this week, then had an
Easter egg hunt! We his about 7 dozen eggs for them to find...and
found all of them except 5...still can't find those.

I got to go to Jacksonville for a trade off for a day, that was fun!
We got to ride bikes!

We've loved sharing the because of him Easter video with everyone this
week. I've seen it many times, but still love it.

We were teaching the plan of salvation to 8 yr old Cori this week and
she started crying...we think she felt the spirit and just didn't know
what to do with it. It was sweet.

The scriptures, prayer, and general authority talks keep me going when
I don't know if I can go anymore! I know that those things will help
anyone no matter what phase of life we're in!
