Sept 7 - 13, 2019:
Sat: Didn't do a lot today. I helped my parents with things. My dad bought 2 scooters. The dark blue one is named blueberry and the white one is named snowball. Since I have my permit, I got to drive the dark blue scooter. I rode it a lot in my neighborhood today. I have to say, I looked pretty cool driving it. I had so much fun riding this baby!!!!
Sun: I taught the nursery lesson. I taught about how everybody is a Child Of God, no matter what their circumstances are. Heavenly Father knows each of us and loves us. He knows our strengths and weaknesses. After church, we went home. At around 6:45ish, I got to ride the blue and black scooter, to Branden's Wagstaff open house. I rode behind my dad, who was also on a scooter. He is leaving in three days to go on his mission. That's just so crazy, but I know that he will be a wonderful missionary, for the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After I got back, my dad had to go to the houses by modern mission, so he and I rode the scooters over there. It was so much fun!!
Mon: This morning, I rode the white scooter over to the houses, while My Aunt was behind me. We cleaned two houses!! Man, it was such hard work, but it was worth it. Then I rode the scooter back to my house. I have to say, I'm doing pretty well riding the scooters.
Tues: Took care of 1 and a half-year-old Ryden (Amy and Rhett's child). He is such a cutie and a goofball. He just makes me laugh. Ryden especially loved squeaking Louie's toy penguin and running around with it. Later, in the afternoon, I rode a little on the scooter. After I finished, I started to pack my things, since we are going to be staying overnight in a hotel; tomorrow night in Oklahoma City. The best news, my temple clothes, and bag came in today. I'm super excited to bring it to the temple and have my own temple clothes/bag!!
Wed: Us girls, headed off this morning, to drive to the Oklahoma City temple. We stopped at Taco Bell, to grab food for lunch. Then when we arrived at the temple, we did initiatory; took a break and got some dinner; we went to this Italian place. Let me tell you guys, that place was so delicious and the best!! At around 5:15 pm, we headed back to the temple, to do a 6:00 endowment session and ceiling session. It was a long day and I was worn out at the end of the day, but I made it through. I just love going to the temple!! It's just so amazing, how you can feel the holy ghost so strong there and just feel the love from him. The best thing about temples, is they are just peaceful and quiet, with no distractions. That is the best time to just think about things. Just going to the temple, especially this temple, I feel like I'm better understanding what is being taught there.
Thurs: Got up; eat breakfast at the hotel. Then we headed out, to go to the temple again to do the sessions. I think it's so amazing for each session, that we have the opportunity to do the work, for the people that have passed away and up in heaven. I especially love doing the ceilings; it's my favorite session. At around 2:20 pm, we started our trip back to Fayetteville, AR. Before we got on the road, we stopped at Firehouse Subs to get lunch. The type of sub I got was a Ranch Bacon turkey.
Sorry about not sending the mission letters to you guys every week. I have been thinking about ways to better my mission letters I write to you guys. This year my goal is to send out my mission letters every Friday to you guys.
