ELDER JOSEPH RICHARDSON - August 2, 2016 - Week 49: Mission Birthday

Hello everyone!

This week was super great! For the most part, we've been doing a lot
of finding, as we need to grow our teaching pool.

One main thing that happened this week were that we started teaching
Anne, the grandmother of another investigator. She says she has read
the Book of Mormon before, which is kind of exciting. We met wth her
twice this week, and she has some good questions.

We also met with Anthony and Linda, two less actives who have some
pretty weird concerns. It all boils do to the fact that they refuse to
attend church, read the scriptures, or even pray! And they wonder why
they're so confused about everything!

During parts of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we helped a new senior
missionaries couple move in. They are name the Chilsons, and seem
pretty cool.

Sunday was my birthday! It wasn't too eventful, but we made up for
that today. I got three big boxes of stuff from Walmart, plus some
shirts and a tie from the LDS Bookstore!

Today, we got to go on a tour of Luke Air Force Base. It was pretty
cool! I'll include some pictures. We rode all around the base and
learned a bunch of cool stuff.

That's the bulk of it for today. Have a great week everyone!

Keep Hauling That Water,
Elder Joseph Richardson
