Things have been going super great this week!
The day after Halloween, members gave us a ton of candy! I've had to
try hard not to eat too much of it! :P
We've been teaching a new investigator named Kyle every other day this
week, and he's progressing super fast! He's going to be baptized on
November 26th, and I'll get to come back for it. He has a hilarious 3
year old named Jake, who comes and tries to fight me during our
lessons, much to his dad's chagrin. It's super funny though. One time,
we were about to leave, and Jake stopped us and said that there were
zombies outside. Then he opened the door and ran outside to scare the
zombies away! The crowning moment was three seconds later when he ran
back inside screaming, as if the zombies were after him.
Another great thing that happened this week was the Baptism of Thomas
Duncan on Saturday. It went over great! Thomas is super solid, and he
is going to make a great member! His girlfriend brought a big red
velvet cake, so there were good refreshments too! :P
That's the bulk of my week this time around! I hope to hear from a
bunch of you! :D
