ELDER JOSEPH RICHARDSON - June 14, 2016 - Week 42: Donuts and Black People

Hello everyone!

This week was busy! We scouted for twelve hours this week!

On Wednesday, we had a lesson with a black family. They were kind of
crazy and were overly abscessed with having dinner afterwards, then
they had a lesson take forever, which was weird. The mother is an
evangelical, so she started humming and saying "Praise Jesus!" as we
were talking. It was a fun lesson.

We are still teaching through different people who are close to being
baptised but one of them won't commit to pay tithing and the other one
won't come to church for some reason. It's kind of annoying, but we're
doing our best, so it's alright.

Today we had a cool zone activity because we achieved our goal last
month, President Griffin let us watch a movie and have donuts. We
watched one called "Freetown", which was about a group of Liberian
missionaries who had to escape Liberia in the middle of their Civil
War. It was super funny, because some of our zone have been out so
long that they're now sore from sitting for two hours straight.

Well, now we need to go shopping, we're behind schedule because of the movie.

Keep Hauling that Water,
Elder Joseph Richardson
