ELDER JOSEPH RICHARDSON - February 16, 2016 - Week 25: A Fun Week

Hello everyone!

This week has been pretty fun!

After I emailed last Monday, we went out to the house of the Kirkland elders where we played board games and roasted hot dogs in her burn barrel. On our way there, Elder Ingham was hanging his tie out their truck window, and it got ripped out of his hands by the wind. we had to turn around and go find it along the road!

Tuesday night, the Jennings took us to a Mexican restaurant called Casa Sanchez. It was super good!

On Wednesday, we did a bunch of service. first we went and spread dirt in Debbie's pasture so her horses wouldn't trip on the drainage ditches. Then she fed us lunch from a local sandwich place called Chubby Chuck's. After that, we went to Sister Roth's to work on clearing out more of her yard. Then she gave us cookies! That night, we went over to the prongers for dinner and to gave Brother Pronger a blessing. He tore his rotator cuff a while back and was going into surgery the next day. Afterwards, I helped Kyle Pronger with his Geometry Homework. I'd forgotten Geometric Means were even a thing!

On Thursday, the English family fed us ribs. They were super good! We also played a game called BeanBoozled which involves jelly beans with nasty flavors. It was kind of weird.

Friday and Saturday, I was on Exchanges with Elder Tribe. He's a pretty cool Elder who's been out awhile. I learned a lot from him.

Well, that's largely it. We did have a random nonmember show up to church which was pretty cool.

Keep Hauling that Water,
Elder Joseph Richardson
