These past two weeks have kind of flown by, and I kind of forgot to
write a full weekly email last week. Now, Elder Durrett is sick, so
I've got far too much time to sit and email this week.
Most of our time has been spent looking for new people to teach. Sun
City is a harder area to find investigators, as old people tend to be
more set in their ways. We spend our afternoons visiting part member
families in hope that the nonmembers in the families will be
interested, but nothing has come of it yet. We have some good
potential with a few people though.
I have also had the chance to offer my computer skills in some service
projects this week, which has been fun. I enjoy helping people with
their computers. Maybe I'd make a good IT guy? :D
This past week, I got to go on exchanges with Elder Nelson, one of the
elders in my district. We had a lot of fun doing a variety of service
projects, including wrapping 8-10 long strings of lights around a
giant palm tree. Eventually, we had to use a 6 ft tall board with a
nail to hang the lights off of the top parts of the tree.
All in all, it was a pretty good pair of weeks!

District Meeting
Elders Nelson and Gardner actually did end up going to buy nicotine patches for their investigator!
